BPPV (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo) is a common cause of dizziness that occurs when small crystals in the inner ear move out of place within the balance organ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It typically causes brief spinning sensations when you roll over in bed, bend forward, or look up.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

Who?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

BPPV often affects people from middle age onward, but it can occur at any age. Symptoms may appear suddenly, sometimes after a fall, infection, or without a clear cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through balance physiotherapy (also called vestibular rehabilitation), we perform specific repositioning manoeuvres, such as the Epley manoeuvre, to return the crystals to their correct place in the inner ear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
